Welcome to the ISIMA (Institut Supérieur d'Informatique, de Modélisation et de leurs Applications) / LIMOS (Laboratoire d'Informatique, de Modélisation et d'Optimisation des Systèmes) technical services documentation. This guide provides an overview of the available services, access methods, and usage instructions.
🔧 Access Methods✯
VPN (Virtual Private Network)✯
To access ISIMA/LIMOS resources from outside the campus network, you must connect via VPN.
- OpenVPN configuration files are available here.
- Kerberos authentication is required for some services.
- MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) is mandatory for enhanced security.
SSH (Secure Shell)✯
All servers can be accessed via SSH using your ISIMA/LIMOS credentials.
ssh username@server.isima.fr
Replace username with your ISIMA/LIMOS login and server.isima.fr with the target server hostname.
RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol)✯
For Windows-based services, RDP access is available.
xfreerdp /v:rdp.isima.fr /u:username /p:password

Authentication & Identity Management✯
- ISIMA/LIMOS Accounts: Managed via INP (Institut National Polytechnique) systems.
- Single Sign-On (SSO): Integrated with CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) and UCA (Université Clermont Auvergne) systems.
- Password Reset: Available via GestSup.
