Accounts and Access to ISIMA Machines✯
If you are teaching courses at ISIMA, you should normally have a UCA account
This account will allow you to log in to any application server, classrooms, and personal virtual machines.
If this account does not exist, you can request the creation of an ISIMA/LIMOS account or the creation of a temporary guest UCA account.
General Information✯
- Access map to the building
- Information about teaching at the school
- Your UCA mail
- Your UCA badge will grant you access to certain parts of our premises (/locaux)
- You have access to a personal storage space
~/shared, accessible from your workstation, as well as from all application servers, classrooms, and personal virtual machines - List of Classrooms: Most rooms are badge-access only. Request a badge from Aure Genillier. Note that some classes may take place in the evening and few staff members will be available to open doors after 5:30 PM.
- Remote access (VPN, SSH, RDP, Guacamole) is available for application servers, classrooms, and personal virtual machines
- Student mailing lists
- Usage charters and privacy policy
- Opening and closing hours of the premises
- Equipment loan
- For printing handouts, contact Béatrice Fernandes for ISIMA engineering students or Cristine Barros for master's or bachelor's students.
Using Your Own Machine✯
You may need to use your own laptop for your practical work (TP).
In this case, your only concern is Internet access.
- You can use a port labeled
INVITE(see also here), which will automatically provide network access. - You can use WiFi. Use WiFi (Eduroam) (remember to configure it before attending class) with your UCA credentials.
If you need WiFi and do not have a UCA account, you can request the creation of a temporary guest UCA account.
In Case of Problems✯
If you encounter difficulties, have questions about IT resources, or have requests: do not hesitate to contact the ISIMA IT team by creating a ticket in the Ticket Manager (https://support.isima.fr )
